Midwinter ‘Cassandra’ Plates

midwinter-plates

Lovely breakfast plates produced by Midwinter in 1962 in the ‘Fashion Shape’. The pattern, based on a pleasingly 1950s abstract display of stylised leaves, was created by Midwinter‘s top designer Jessie Tait and is known as ‘Cassandra’. Apparently this pattern was used by the Midwinter family at home.
