Gravy boat designed by Kathie Winkle, the pattern name on the backstamp reads ‘Kontiki’. Few designers in the 60s and 70s created such a wealth of abstract and stylised patterns as Kathie Winkle. During her time as a designer she produced over 100 patterns working for James Broadhusrt & Sons Ltd. before she stopped designing in the mid 70s. Her name appears on the backstamp from 1964 and became the registered trademark for Broadhurst wares.
